Best School Districts In MN For 2023: Where 196 Ranks

ROSEMOUNT, MN — Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan Independent School District 196 is among the best when it comes to districts in Minnesota, according to a report for 2023.

Data analysis website Niche.com said it combined ratings from current students, alumni, and parents with quantitative data from sources like the U.S. Department of Education to evaluate teachers, resources and facilities, extracurricular activity opportunities, and more.

The ninth-annual set of rankings includes data for 11,820 school districts nationwide.

District 196 ranks no. 16 statewide, according to Niche.

2. Wayzata Public School District
3. Eden Prairie Public School District
4. Edina Public School District
5. Eagle Ridge Academy (charter)
6. Orono Public School District
7. Nova Classical Academy (charter)

9. St. Michael-Albertville School District
10. Westonka Public School District
