Blood-Covered Man Found Dead On Sidewalk In Apple Valley, Police Investigating
The victim was found with a chest injury early Saturday morning, police said.
APPLE VALLEY, MN — A man was found dead on a sidewalk early Saturday morning in Apple Valley, and police are asking neighbors to check their security cameras for any suspicious activity.
Officers were dispatched at around 3:12 a.m. to the intersection of Pennock Avenue and 138th Street on a report of a person lying on the sidewalk, according to the Apple Valley Police Department.
When they arrived, officers found an adult male covered in blood with an injury to his chest. Lifesaving measures were attempted, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

His identity will be released by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Police are processing evidence and continuing to investigate the incident.
