Dakota County Under Tornado Watch Monday Night: NWS
There could be wind gusts of up to 70 mph and tennis ball-sized hail, NWS said.
DAKOTA COUNTY, MN — Dakota County and surrounding areas are under a tornado watch until 10 p.m. Monday evening, National Weather service said.
Wind gusts of up to 70 mph are possible, as well as hail the size of tennis balls, NWS said.
National Weather Service also issued a wind advisory until 4 p.m. Monday, saying that tree limbs and other unsecured objects could be blown away. There could also be power outages, NWS said.

Monday: 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 4 p.m. Partly sunny, with a high near 85 degrees. Wind gusts could be as high as 45 mph.
Monday night: There will be a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 7 p.m. Mostly clear, with a low around 54 degrees. Winds could gust as high as 35 mph.

Tuesday: It will be mostly sunny, with a high near 75 degrees.
Tuesday night: There is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. It will be mostly clear, with a low around 56 degrees.
Wednesday: There will be a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. Some of the storms could be severe. Mostly sunny, with a high near 85 degrees.
Wednesday night: 80 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some storms could be severe, with heavy rain. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible. The low will be around 69 degrees.
