'Alberta Clipper' Could Bring Snow To AV, Rosemount Friday: NWS

APPLE VALLEY/ROSEMOUNT, MN — A snowstorm will hit the Twin Cities on Friday, according to National Weather Service.
The Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area could get up to three inches of snow.

Dakota County is also under a hazardous weather outlook. NWS says that a mix of snow and freezing rain is possible Thursday morning and there will be snow Friday.

Wednesday night: There is a 30 percent chance of snow and freezing rain before 4 a.m. It will be mostly cloudy with a low of 21 degrees.
Thursday: Mostly cloudy with a high near 30 degrees.
Thursday night: There is a 20 percent chance of snow after midnight. It will be mostly cloudy with a low of 13 degrees.
Friday: Snow is likely, and 1-3 inches is possible. It will be mostly cloudy with a high of 18 degrees.
Friday night: There is a 40 percent chance of snow before midnight. It will be cloudy with a low of 1 degree.
Saturday: It will be sunny with a high of 15 degrees.
