Here's How Much Snow Fell In Apple Valley, Rosemount Friday: NWS

APPLE VALLEY/ROSEMOUNT, MN — While National Weather Service originally predicted that Twin Cities would get between 6-10 inches of snow Friday new numbers far exceed that prediction.

Apple Valley received between 12-17 inches of snow, NWS said. Rosemount received between 14-18 inches.

ISD 196 cancelled school Friday in anticipation of the storm.

Despite the Twin Cities being buried in snow Friday, much of the snow could easily melt later this week. NWS predicts that Wednesday will have temperatures in the 50s.
