How Much Snow Did Rosemount Get?
Tuesday saw Minnesota's first major snowstorm, contributing to more than 300 crashes and over 200 spin-outs across the state.

ROSEMOUNT, MN — The season's first major winter storm dumped at least 4.3 inches of snow onto Rosemount Tuesday, according to an unofficial report.
The observation was recorded at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday and reported to the National Weather Service.
Another observation found 6.5 inches fell in Apple Valley.

Here are the official NWS snowfall observations:
- Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport: 8.4 inches
- Chanhassen NWS Office: 5.3 inches
- Eau Claire, WI NWS Office: 1.5 inches
The weather will be calmer in the days ahead. "Near or below normal temperatures will continue through the first week of December. Light snow is likely Friday night with some accumulation possible," the NWS said.
