Snowfall Reports: How Much Snow Fell In Apple Valley?
The Twin Cities metro area notched another historic snowstorm this week.

APPLE VALLEY, MN — The Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport saw a historic 14.9 inches of snow accumulate on Tuesday and Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.
Apple Valley saw 16.5 inches of new snow, according to an unofficial report sent to the NWS on Thursday.
This week's two-day snowfall event ranks no. 17 for two-day snow totals in the region, with records dating back to 1875.

Below are the top five two-day snowfall events recorded in the metro:
- 26.7 inches (Oct. 31-Nov. 1, 1991)
- 20.0 inches ending (Jan. 22-Jan. 23, 1982)
- 19.6 inches ending (Nov. 1-Nov. 2, 1991)
- 17.5 inches ending (Jan. 21, Jan. 22, 1982)
- 17.1 inches ending (Dec. 10, Dec. 11, 2010)
