'Unknown' If 3-Year-Old Was Properly Belted In Deadly Crash: MSP
On Monday, a Toyota Camry traveling northbound on Highway 52 crossed the center line and collided with the semi head-on, investigators said.

DAKOTA COUNTY, MN — It's not yet clear if the 3-year-old killed in Monday's crash on Highway 52 was properly restrained in a car seat, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The child was identified as Sebastian Chavez Garcia of St. Paul.
On Monday just after 10:30 a.m., a semi-flatbed was traveling southbound Highway 52.

Meanwhile, a Toyota Camry traveling northbound on Highway 52 crossed the center line and collided with the semi head-on, investigators said.
The 3-year-old boy in the Camry was transported to Regions Hospital, where he died.

The Camry driver — a 28-year-old St. Paul woman — was transported to Regions Hospital with life-threatening injuries. It is "unknown" if alcohol was a factor in her driving, authorities said.
The semi-driver — a 39-year-old Florida man — suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
Conditions were wet at the time of the crash, according to investigators.
