Burnsville Center Owner Buys 2nd MN Mall In Mankato: Report

BURNSVILLE, MN — The New York company that bought the Burnsville Center in late 2020 recently bought a second Minnesota mall in Mankato, Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal reported.

Kohan Retail Investment Group bought River Hills Mall in Mankato for $29.4 million in July, the report said.

The seller of the mall was Toronto-based Brookfield Properties, which had owned the mall since 2018, according to the report.

Founder and CEO of Kohan Retail Investment Group Mike Kohan has built a reputation on investing in troubled retail properties, the publication reported.
