On March 7, an undercover agent paid Zwack for 11 auto sears intended to convert a semiautomatic AR-type weapon to shoot automatically, authorities said.

During the sale, the agent noticed a firearm in Zwack’s waistband, according to prosecutors.

On March 30, officers executed a search warrant on Zwack’s vehicle and found a Girsan-Regard 9mm semi-automatic pistol in the center console, investigators said. A search warrant executed at his home turned up a shotgun and ammunition, according to authorities.

Officers found more firearms, suspected homemade silencers, ammunition, and a suspected destructive device in his storage locker at work, prosecutors said.
