Burnsville Girls Hockey Team To Play In State Quarterfinal
Burnsville faces off against the Minnetonka Skippers in the Class AA state quarterfinal at 1 p.m. Thursday.
BURNSVILLE, MN — The Burnsville High School girls hockey team will continue its bid for a state title Thursday with a game against the Minnetonka Skippers.
The Blaze faces off against Minnetonka, led by former Burnsville coach Tracy Cassano, in the Class AA quarterfinal at 1 p.m. Thursday.
This is Burnsville's eighth trip to the state tournament, according to Minnesota State High School League.

The Blaze averages nearly five goals per game, MSHSL said.
The team includes seniors Zoie Dundon, with 16 goals and 35 assists, and Katie Katzmarek, with 34 goals and 12 assists, MSHSL said.
