Cake Contest and a Tractor Parade: Dakota County Fair Day 5

The Dakota County Fair continues with 4-H events and other activities on Friday.

Some of the 4-H events include rabbit agility demonstrations, swine judging and a goat demonstration.

The All American Lumberjack show is at 2 p.m. and the Kid's Lumberjack Sport Camp is at 4:30 p.m.

The day includes cake contest judging at 7 p.m., painting and bronze sculpture. At the Grandstand, the Demolition Derby will start at 7:30 p.m.

Also on Friday in Burnsville:

High school athletes need to turn in their sports registration.

Interstate 35W between Highway 13 and the I-35/35W/I-35E split will close starting at 10 p.m. It will reopen by 5 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 12.
