ISD 191 Requires Face Masks For Remainder Of Summer
At its Aug. 12 meeting, the Board of Education will review a resolution on health and safety measures for the 2021-22 school year.
BURNSVILLE, MN — Beginning Monday, Independent School District 191 began requiring face masks for all visitors and staff, regardless of vaccination status.
The district shared on its website that it made this decision based on MDH guidance that wearing face masks is essential to protect unvaccinated children.
At its Aug. 12 meeting, the Board of Education will review a resolution on health and safety measures for the 2021-22 school year, the district said.

"District 191 will continue to monitor health conditions in our programs and in the community, as well as guidance from state and federal health officials," the district said. "The district will also review any guidelines set forth by the Minnesota State High School League with regard to athletics and activities."
