Meeting Preview: Beer and Wine at Chipotle?
The mexican grill has asked the city to approve a limited liquor license at its location on County Road 42.

Monday
- Representatives from the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) will be holding an informational meeting for local businesses on Monday, March 18 from 8-9:30 a.m. in the Burnsville City Council Chambers at city hall. MnDOT staff will discuss projects that are taking place in Burnsville and answer questions from local businesses. The list of upcoming projects includes a major overhaul of Interstate 35.
- Savage City Council will meet at 7 p.m. at City Hall. This week the council selling over $8 million in city bonds, using city funds to buy an exhaust hood, fan and make up air package to make the now-vacant Savage Depot more appealing to would-be tenants.
Tuesday
- Burnsville City Council: The council will recognize outgoing City Administrator Craig Ebeling, who will retire before the end of the month, consider a beer and wine license for Chipotle, and vote on an expansion project at the Fairview Campus. The Burnsville council meets at 6:30 p.m. at city hall.
- The Shakopee City Council will meet at 7 p.m. This week they will consider a proposal from the Shakopee Tennis Association for an indoor tennis facility, the fate of the Emerson project, and a Historic Preservation Ordinance and Design Guidelines.
