Military Day at the Dakota County Fair
Free admission and free parking for military personnel and their families and things to do at the fair.

The Dakota County Fair will go into its third day on Wednesday.
It's Military Day at the fair and military personnel and their families will receive free parking and admission when they present a military ID. The day serves as a thank you for the service military members give to the country.
Featured events at the fair include 4-H rabbit agility demonstrations, the All American Lumberjack Show, 4-H poultry judging, and art and food shows.
Bulls and Barrels is the featured show at the Grandstand. It starts at 7 p.m.
The gate opens at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, but the carnival and most buildings do not open until 10 a.m. The gate closes at 10 p.m.
The Beer Garden is open from 12 p.m. to 12:30 a.m.
Admission is $5 for adults; $2 for youth ages 6 to 12; $2 for seniors ages 60 and up; and free for children ages 5 and under.
Parking is $5.

A free workshop on mastering communication will start at 10 a.m. The workshop will be located at 190 South River Ridge Circle, Suite 208 in Burnsville.
A craft fair for kids at Burnhaven Library will start at 10 a.m.
