New Playground at Cliff Fen to be Unveiled and Rechristened on Friday
The city will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new playland at what was once Skyland Playground.

Skyland Playground has been transformed—with a new look, new features and a new name.
The brand new playground at Cliff Fen Park will now be known as the Burnsville Lions Playground, in honor of the organization which made a substantial donation to the $300,000 rebuilding effort. The new playground has 87 play pieces, enough stuff to keep up to 265 children occupied at one time. The new playground will also have a few amenities for adults to, such as electricity and Wi-Fi to the shelters and park.
The playground will make its official debut during a ribbon cutting ceremony on Friday, June 7, at 6:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend.
