Olivia, Sophia and Ethan Ranked 'Top Baby Names' at Fairview Ridges

In anticipation of Mother's Day, Fairview Ridges recently released the top baby names for 2012.

The biggest names at Burnsville's Fairview Ridges Hospital are also the hottest monikers in the country. Among the 2,636 babies delivered there in 2012 there were a bevy of babies named Sophia (the number one most popular name for girls in the nation for 2012), Olivia (fourth), and more than a score of Ethans (third most popular for boys).

Since 1997, the Social Security Administration has released a national list of the most popular baby names. This year, Fairview followed suit and assembled a local list, just in time for Mother's Day.
