Police Arrest Man Charged with Sexual Conduct with Burnsville Girl
A nationwide arrest warrant was issued May 11 for Shawn LaJuan Primus, charged with two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct.

A Brooklyn Center man accused of repeatedly forcing a young Burnsville girl to perform oral sex was arrested Sunday in Hastings.
Shawn LaJuan Primus, 38, is charged with two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct, each of which carries a maximum penalty of 30 years in prison and a $40,000 fine.

A nationwide arrest warrant was issued for him on May 11.
According to the criminal complaint, Burnsville police were called a home on May 9 on a report of criminal sexual conduct involving a young girl.

The child, who turned 10 in March, told authorities that Primus frequently woke her up in the middle of the night, performed oral sex on her and forced her to perform oral sex on him. She said it began last September and happened about three times a week, most recently on May 6.
The child said Primus got angry and threatened her if she wouldn’t cooperate or if she refused to perform oral sex on him.
Primus is scheduled to make a first appearance on the charges today in Dakota County District Court in Hastings.
