"Wow—I’m so appreciative of everyone that has voted early and tonight, you came out to support the ideas and the positive growth that has happened in our district," Said shared on her campaign's Facebook page. "When we listen, create safe spaces, and support equity our students and families succeed in every aspect of their lives."
"Thank you for those who knocked doors for me and those that answered their doors on early Sunday morning," she continued. "I want to thank my fellow board members for their continued guidance and support to do this rewarding work. I’m honored to work side by side with our superintendent Dr.Battle, administrators, and staff to grow and foster our communities and Vision191.
We are #BurnsvilleStrong because of the hard-work and dedication that was put in by former board members and I will continue to do that work for equitable education for all students. Thank you to all the educators and cultural liaisons in district 191 who believed in me as a student and encourage this path for me. Together we can blaze an education that meets every child and family where they are at to spark their endless potential."
