Shakopee Amazon Workers Walked Out Friday: Report

SHAKOPEE, MN — Amazon workers at the company's warehouse in Shakopee walked out Friday night, according to a report by Bring Me The News.

Around 100 workers are asking for a $3 per hour raise, as well as time off for Eid, a Muslim holiday marking the end of Ramadan, which began on Sunday, the publication reported.

Workers at the Shakopee warehouse also walked out in 2018, in protest of the company's work conditions, the report said.
