Weekend Planner: A Ratpack Retread, Echoes of Abba and a So-Called 'Spring' Fest

Tribute acts abound this weekend, which also will offer a spring art show (mercifully, to be held indoors).

This salute to Ol' Blue Eyes offers a small taste of that old black magic Frank was famous for. Las Vegas-style entertainer Michael Matone picks up where the leader of the Ratpack left off at the Burnsville Performing Arts Center. This show is a single engagement: Sunday April 4, at 3 p.m.

Tickets cost $37 for orchestra seating, $31 for the balcony.

The Music of ABBA featuring ARRIVAL from Sweden

This performance at Mystic Lake promises to be "the closest you will ever get to see ABBA!" The "legendary" Swedish tribute band Arrival must live up to the hype: The show is sold out, though some seats could still be released on the day of. The show is on Saturday, April 13, at 8 p.m. Tickets cost $30.62.

SPRING FESTIVAL: AN ARTS AND CRAFTS AFFAIR

Though spring is not quite here yet, south metro residents can get a small reprieve from the lingering cold at the Spring Festival, which is described as one of the biggest arts and crafts events. Browse through hundreds of exhibitors from all across the country. More information available at hpifestivals.com.
