What's Open, Closed In Burnsville Wednesday, Feb. 28

Safety services will still be available in Burnsville during the funeral and procession for Paul Elmstrand, Matthew Ruge, and Adam Finseth.

BURNSVILLE, MN — Burnsville city offices and facilities will be closed Wednesday, Feb. 28 in observance of the procession and funeral service honoring Police Officers Paul Elmstrand and Matthew Ruge and Firefighter/Paramedic Adam Finseth.

The closures include Burnsville City Hall, Burnsville Ice Center, Ames Center, Birnamwood Golf Course, Burnsville Maintenance Facility, Police Station, and Fire Stations No. 1 and 2.

The Burnsville Ice Center will reopen for activities at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 28, and normal city operations at Burnsville city offices will resume Thursday, Feb. 29.

Public safety and emergency services will continue to be available in Burnsville during Wednesday's service thanks to the assistance of Dakota County public safety agencies and EMS providers.
