She was teaching her twins to float when she saw another mother screaming for help.

BURNSVILLE, MN — A Burnsville woman who's 33 weeks pregnant saved the life of a young boy struggling in the water, according to reports. The rescue took place at Crystal Beach Park.

Swedberg, a former lifeguard and competitive swimmer, was with her two 3-year-old twins teaching them to float. Around 11 a.m., she noticed a mom, fully dressed, "sprinting into the water and screaming for somebody to help her son," she said, according to FOX9.

"I encouraged him to keep taking swimming lessons and maybe become a lifeguard," she said, according to the FOX9 report.
