UPDATE: Eviction Halted for Two Northwood Court Businesses

Agreement reached to halt eviction proceedings against Solace Salon & Spa and Massage Envy, located in Eagan's Northwood Court strip mall.

Eviction proceedings filed against Solace Salon & Spa and Massage Envy by the owner of the Northwood Court strip mall have apparently been cancelled.

According to a report by ThisWeek Newspaper, Steve Potach, the attorney for the owner of Northwood Court, said an agreement had been reached Wednesday to halt the eviction process.

Hearings for the eviction had been scheduled in Dakota County District Court for Nov. 21. 

Both businesses said they would remain open for business at their current locations but declined to comment on the eviction proceedings, according to the report.

Two tenants in Eagan’s Northwood Court received eviction notices this week from the strip mall’s owner.

Northwood Court is located behind Byerly’s at 3250 Denmark Road.

Eviction actions were filed in Dakota County District Court against Solace Salon & Spa, in Suite 103, and Massage Envy, in Suite 108.     

According to court documents, the owners of Solace Salon & Spa did not pay monthly rent of $3,177.50 from July through September, and now owe $21,271.30.

Health Services Eagan Inc., which does business as Massage Envy, hasn’t paid monthly rent of $6,459.75 for October or November, and now owes $24,586.95.

Both totals include court costs.

Both businesses declined to comment on the eviction proceedings when contacted. 

Hearings in both eviction actions are scheduled for 9 a.m. Nov. 21 at the Dakota County Courthouse in Apple Valley.
