Body Of Missing Eagan Man Found In MN River

The body of a missing Eagan man was recovered from the Minnesota River on Monday, two days after his family reported his disappearance.

Valentin Ramos, 43, of Eagan was last seen at Red Stone in Eden Prairie before his family contacted the Eden Prairie Police Department on the morning of Jan. 25, expressing concern that he was in crisis.

EAGAN, MN — The body of a missing Eagan man was recovered from the Minnesota River on Monday, two days after his family reported his disappearance to authorities.

Valentin Ramos, 43, was last seen at Redstone American Grill Restaurant in Eden Prairie before his family contacted the police on the morning of Jan. 25, expressing concern that he was in crisis.

Officials believed he may have been traveling along Highway 62 and Highway 5 in a 2006 black Honda Pilot.

The Eagan Police Department, working with the Eden Prairie Police Department, the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, the Dakota County Dive Team, and Hennepin County Water Patrol Units, located Ramos’ body in the Minnesota River near Highway 5 and Highway 55 on Monday.

Authorities said there is no indication of foul play.

Law enforcement officials thanked the public for their assistance and extended condolences to Ramos’ family.
