ETV Wins 8 Awards For Community Storytelling
The awards were state, regional and national and even included top honors.
EAGAN, MN — Eagan Television won eight awards this year for video production from four separate groups. The awards, which include state, regional and national awards, as well as some top honors, the station said.
Here are the awards won by ETV:
- Northern Light Award from the Minnesota Association of Government Communicators (MAGC) for best promotional video: The video that won this award was a profile of Eagan's firefighters.
- Award of Excellence from the Best of the Midwest Media Fest: The video that won this award was a profile of Eagan's firefighters.
- Award of Honor from the National Association of Telecommunications Officers and Advisors (NATOA): The video that won this award was a profile of Eagan's firefighters.
- Top national honors from the Alliance for Community Media: The video that won this award was a history of Eagan's 4th of July Parade.
- Award of Excellence from Midwest Media Fest: The video that won this award was on Eagan's Holiday Tree Lighting.
- Award of Achievement from Midwest Media Fest: The video that won this award was about improvements at Eagan's City Hall.
- Minnesota Association of Government Communicators (MAGC) Silver Award: The video that won this award was a Public Works Week promotional video.
- NATOA Award of Honor: The video that won this award was a social media video production about turning on the stadium lights to honor 2020 seniors.
Hailee Boston, Dan Callahan, and Josh Sibley of ETV produced the winning videos, the station said.

“ETV continues to share our community’s stories through high quality video productions even with the added constraints of the pandemic,” ETV Executive Director Mike McIntee said. “Our team loves partnering with our community to tell Eagan’s story, and I’m proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish while doing that.”
