Man Broke Into Eagan Gas Station, Stole Money And Tobacco: Police
If convicted, Charles Puckett faces up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

EAGAN, MN — A 29-year-old Minneapolis man was charged in a December robbery at a gas station in Eagan.
Charles E. Puckett was arrested on Monday and booked into the Dakota County Jail. He faces one count of third-degree burglary.
If convicted, Puckett faces up to five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

On Dec. 21, police responded to an alarm call at an Eagan gas station. At the scene, police found the glass front door partly shattered.
Surveillance video from the business showed a man later identified as Puckett, according to the criminal complaint. In the video, Puckett is seen breaking the bottom portion of the glass door and crawling into the business, authorities said.

Once inside the store, Puckett filled a bag with tobacco products and took a cash register drawer filled with approximately $650, according to the criminal complaint.
The value of the stolen tobacco products was estimated to be just over $1400, police said.
Police searched Puckett's Minneapolis apartment and found the stolen items, according to the criminal complaint.
