Season of Cheer at Eden Prairie Center

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn., (Nov. 15, 2024)–Eden Prairie Center announced today it is gearing up for the holiday season with a festive line-up of free family-friendly events, including the return of the community favorite Santa’s Arrival Party on Nov. 16.

“Our center is excited to be the ultimate destination for holiday fun and shopping this season,” said Cecile O’Hagan, marketing manager at Eden Prairie Center. “From traditional events like Elves In The Mall and holiday performances to new popup events, we’re offering memorable experiences to bring a season of magic and joy to all ages in the Twin Cities."

Eden Prairie Center holiday event line-up includes:

• Photos with Santa - Tues., Nov. 12 through Tues., Dec. 24 in SCHEELS Court
  • All families are encouraged to view Santa’s hours and make a reservation for the best value and experience to capture holiday memories!
  • VIP Extra packages are available including the Santa Special, Family Portrait and Santa Photo Prints.
  • Pet Photos with Santa are only available on Mondays.

• Santa’s Arrival Party - Sat., Nov. 16 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Center Court | Free Admission
  • Kick off the holiday season with a magical morning full of festive fun!
  • The event schedule includes:
    • 10:15 – 10:45 AM: Mrs. Claus Story Time & Songs – Cozy up with Mrs. Claus for enchanting holiday stories and delightful songs.
    • 10:45 – 10:50 AM: Mrs. Claus Introduces Santa – Get ready to meet Santa as Mrs. Claus gives a special introduction.
    • 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Balloon Artist & Face Painter – Enjoy more fun with a talented balloon artist and face painter.
• Guests are encouraged to reserve their spot for Santa photos and walk-ins are welcome.
• The first 30 photo sessions from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. will receive a $15 Starbucks or Target gift card.

• Holiday Robotics - Sun., Nov. 24 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. in Center Court | Free Admission
  • Talon Robotics, the first Robotics team from Eden Prairie High School, will join the center for an innovative and educational event.
  • The event will include robot demonstrations, as Talon Robotics will be collecting toy donations to support underserved children in the community during their Bots for Tots donation drive.

• Tropical Adventure: A Magical Beach Party - Sat., Nov. 30 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Center Court | Free Admission
  • Join Eden Prairie Center for a fun-filled morning with a beautiful red hair mermaid, her charming prince, and an adventurous island princess to celebrate the movie release of Moana 2!
  • The event schedule includes:
    • 10:30 – 11:30 AM: Meet and greet with an enchanting mermaid, her charming prince, and the adventurous island princess. Capture magical moments with these delightful characters.
    • 11:30 – 11:55 AM: Sing and dance along with an island princess for a fun-filled tropical experience.
    • 11:55 AM – 12:20 PM: Gather around for captivating stories from our mermaid guest, full of oceanic adventures.
    • 12:20 – 12:30 PM: Say farewell with hugs and warm goodbyes as the party comes to an end.
  • Guests are encouraged to RSVP for this free event and dress in their tropical best.

• Toys for Tots - Sat., Nov. 30 from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. in Center Court
  • Eden Prairie Center and the Eden Prairie Police Department will be accepting donations of new, unwrapped toys and games for kids in the Center Court near Von Maur.
  • Law enforcement agencies all over the Twin Cities collect toys and load them into squad cars for a procession to the KARE11 studios on Sunday, Dec. 8 where the toys will be unloaded and distributed.

• Season of Cheer: Holiday Performances - Sun., Dec. 1 - Fri., Dec. 20 in Center Court | Free Admission
  • Join us for an enchanting series of holiday music and dance performances by talented community artists.

• Elves In The Mall - Sat., Dec. 7 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Center Court | Free Admission
  • Mischievous elves bring holiday fun with a comedy show from 10:15 - 10:50 a.m., followed by balloons, glitter tattoos and more.

• Winter Wonderland with Ice Queen and Princess - Sat., Dec. 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in Center Court | Free Admission
  • Wear a Frozen costume and enjoy a special meet and greet, storytime, singalong, crafts and more., hosted by Twin Cities Road Crew.
  • Guests are encouraged to RSVP for this free event and walk-ins are welcome.

• Pet Adoption Day with Warrior Dog Rescue - Sat. Dec. 21 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Center Court | Free Admission
  • Help four-legged pals find their forever homes through Warrior Dog Rescue to adopt the perfect companion.

***Eden Prairie Center welcomes service animals only, and kindly requests that already owned pets stay at home.

• Holiday Carolers - Sat., Dec. 21 - Tues., Dec. 24 | Free Admission
  • Join us for a delightful stroll through the mall with Dickens-style Victorian Christmas Carolers, as they sing their harmonious melodies and the season’s spirit.
