$11K Ring Stolen from Local Jeweler

Police also responded to a pair of burglaries in the 5000 block of Schaefer Road.

  • Police responded to the 6400 block of Barrie Road on a report of damage to a glass door at the Edina Towers.
  • Police responded to on a report of theft. An unknown person reportedly stole an iPhone valued at $600 from a student's backpack.

  • Police responded to the 5000 block of Schaefer Road on a report of burglary. An unknown person reportedly entered the victim's residence, but did not appear to have stolen anything.
  • Police responded to the 5400 block of Oaklawn Avenue on a report of theft. An unknown person broke into the victim's vehicle and stole a briefcase and contents valued at $60.
  • Police responded to the 5000 block of Schaefer Road on a report of burglary. An unknown person entered the victim's residence, stealing a cell phone, iPad, wallet and contents valued at $200 in total.
  • Police responded to westbound Hwy. 62 near Gleason Road on a report of a domestic assault that had occurred on a previous day.
  • Police responded to the 6300 block of Waterman Avenue on a report of theft. An unknown person entered the victim's vehicle and stole a laptop valued at $1,200.
  • Police responded to the 6300 block of Waterman Avenue on a report of theft. An unknown person entered the victim's vehicle and stole $35 in cash.
  • Police responded to on a report of theft. An unknown person reportedly stole a ring valued at $10,999 from the store.

  • Police responded to the 4400 block of Branson Street on a report of theft. An unknown person entered the victim's garage and stole a bicycle valued at $500. 

Friday, June 22

  • Erick Gonzalez-Garcia, 19, was arrested for a domestic incident.
  • Police responded to the 5500 block of Countryside Road on a report of burglary. An unknown person entered the victim's garage and stole cash, a light transformer and sunglasses valued at $295 in total.
  • Police responded to the on a report of theft. An unknown person entered the victim's vehicle and stole a laptop valued at $400.
  • Police responded to on a report of found property.
  • Police responded to the 6400 block of Maloney Avenue on a report of suspicious activity.
  • Police responded to the on a report of theft. An unknown person stole an unattended wallet, contents and keys valued at $235 in total from a bench near the pool.
