17-Year-Old Busted with Marijuana at Edina High School

Police also arrested a woman for $346 worth of unauthorized mark downs at Macy's.

Monday, June 4

  • Police responded to on a report of theft. An unknown suspect reportedly stole $135.03 in cash from the coffee shop.
  • Police responded to the 4800 block of Sunnyside Road on a report of unwanted text messages.
  • Police responded to the 3300 block of Hazelton Road for an unspecified call.
  • Police responded to the 7100 block of York Avenue South on a report of burglary. An unwanted person entered the victim's unlocked residence and stole credit cards valued at $104.

  • Asha Hassan Hashi, 24, of Minneapolis, was arrested for obstructing the legal process and careless driving in the 5500 block of northbound Hwy. 100.
  • A 17-year-old male was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana at .
  • Police responded to the 4400 block of Parklawn Avenue on a report of a dog bite.
  • Police responded to the 7100 block of Cahill Road on a report of an unknown person fraudulently cashing two checks against a victim's account.
  • Police responded to the 6600 block of MCauley Trail on a report of a violation of a protection order.
  • Jennifer Lisa Strawberry, 23, of St. Paul, was arrested for theft after employees found she had performed unauthorized mark downs. Strawberry was reportedly responsible for $346 in unauthorized mark downs.
  • Christopher Charles Packer, 21, of Crystal, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. Packer was the passenger in a vehicle stopped on Hwy. 62 for a traffic violation, when officers found the paraphernalia on him.

Wednesday, June 6

  • Police responded to the 5100 block of Vernon Avenue South on a report of property damage. An unknown person reportedly scratched the paint on the victim's vehicle, according to police.
  • Police responded to the 3300 block of West 66th Street on a report of a lost ring.
  • Police responded to on a report of a violation of a restraining order.
