3 Hurt In Attempted Carjacking Thursday In Edina: Police
One person was injured Thursday evening and taken to North Memorial Health Hospital in serious but stable condition, police said.
EDINA, MN — Three people were hurt Thursday evening in an attempted carjacking at a Lunds & Byerlys store in Edina, according to police.
Officers were called around 5 p.m. Thursday to the grocery store, 3945 W. 50th St., for reports of a carjacking in progress, the Edina Police Department said in a news release.
Police said four juveniles tried to carjack an occupied vehicle in the parking lot before two bystanders tried to help.

Three people were injured in the attempted carjacking, with one person taken to North Memorial Health Hospital in serious but stable condition, police said.
An attempted carjacking was also reported Thursday afternoon at a Lunds & Byerlys store in St. Louis Park. A crew from Fox 9 was at the grocery store to cover a previously reported robbery when they thwarted the carjacking attempt, the outlet reported.
