The report lists incidents by block and notes when arrests were made, offering a clear snapshot of recent public safety activity across the city.

Edina pledges $250K to help 3 businesses (hometownsource.com) — Edina’s Housing and Redevelopment Authority has committed about $250,000 in SPARC loans and grants to keep three local businesses growing and filling key commercial spaces. Americana, Coder’s Clubhouse, and JJ’s Poke will use the city-backed funds for buildouts, accessibility upgrades, and expansions that aim to add jobs, boost tax revenue, and strengthen neighborhood business districts like 50th and France.

Edina Police Department shares reminders on relationship with ICE (hometownsource.com) — Edina Police are reminding residents that the department enforces only state and local laws, not federal immigration laws, and does not ask about or share immigration status. Officers say they are not involved in ICE or CBP operations in the city, respond only to 911 calls for safety, and urge all residents to seek help without fear.
   

4. Richfield police: Man arrested after dragging dead body out of building, leading authorities on pursuit (kstp.com) — A police pursuit that began in Richfield ended at M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, where officers arrested a man at the emergency room entrance. A 23-year-old woman with a gunshot wound was found in his car and later died, and investigators are still working to determine what happened.
   

5. No Breakdown Tip-Off, no problem for some top basketball teams (startribune.com) — Edina officials’ safety concerns led to canceling the Breakdown Boys Tip-Off Classic after a fan fight halted a Hopkins–Tartan game, but several top Minnesota teams still played rescheduled matchups.
