9 Edina Schools On 1st COVID-19 Outbreak List Of 2022
The Minnesota Department of Health's most recent list included 122 Hennepin County schools, 26 fewer than last week.
EDINA, MN — Nine Edina schools were named Thursday on the Minnesota Department of Health’s first COVID-19 outbreak list of 2022.
Avail Academy, Edina High School, Our Lady of Grace, Valley View Middle School and five elementary schools — Concord, Cornelia, Countryside, Highlands and Normandale — were named on the final list of 2021.
Avail Academy was removed from the first list of 2022, while Creek Valley Elementary was included alongside the other eight schools included on last week’s list.

The COVID-19 data dashboard for Edina Public Schools shows the district has recorded 544 total coronavirus cases among students since Aug. 30, as of Dec. 21. The district serves about 8,400 students.
The district has also reported 89 cases among its 1,200 staff members since Aug. 30.

The Minnesota Department of Health's most recent list of facilities with coronavirus outbreaks included 122 Hennepin County schools, 26 fewer than the previous week. Thursday’s list included 653 schools throughout Minnesota, 189 fewer than last week.
