Southdale Center—along with the cities of Edina, Bloomington and Richfield—is hosting its annual Vehicle Day on Saturday morning outside of the Herberger's store. From 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, May 4, in the parking lot outside of Herberger's, attendees can get an up-close look at fire trucks, police cars, garbage trucks, snow plows, buses and other vehicles. The event even allows children (and parents) to sit in the driver's seat of the vehicles as well as take part in a number of kid-friendly activities.  Children of all ages are welcome at the event, though they must be accompanied by an adult.
