Budget, Technology Purchases Top School Board Agenda
The Board of Education meets at 7 p.m. on Monday, June 25.

The Edina School Board will be considering a $115.1 million preliminary budget when it convenes on Monday, June 25.
The $92.4 million general fund budget represents a 5.66-percent increase over the district's 2011-12 budget, which saw expenditures of approximately $87.45 million. Last year saw a general fund budget surplus of $306,453.
Projected revenues for the 2012-13 school year are budgeted at $116.67 million, with an anticipated $1.56 million surplus for the next school year.

Board members will also be considering the purchase of a substantial amount of technology, including 195 Google Chromebooks, 190 iPads and 35 Lenovo All-in-One computers, among others.
