Burglar Swipes $3,000 Laptop from Edina Home
The robbery was one of several similar incidents reported in northwest Edina since June 10.

Monday, July 9
- Police responded to the 4900 block of France Avenue South on a report of shoplifting. No suspects were located in the area.
- A 27-year-old Brooklyn Park woman was arrested for theft after employees observed her attempt to steal $441.49 in clothing from the store.
- A 17-year-old girl was arrested for theft after a employee observed her attempt to steal $48.75 in clothing from the store.
- Police responded to the 7200 block of York Avenue South on a report of a possible violation of a protection order.

- Police responded to the 4600 block of Valley View Road on a report of burglary. An unknown person entered a residence and stole a backpack and its contents, valued at $930 in total.
- Police responded to the 400 block of Monroe Avenue South on a report of burglary. An unidentified person stole a laptop valued at $3,000 from a residence.
Wednesday, July 11
- Police responded to the 5200 block of Lincoln Drive on a report of a verbal domestic.
- Police responded to the 6100 block of Kaymar Drive on a report of a verbal domestic.
- Police responded to the 4100 block of Parklawn Avenue on a report of burglary. An unknown person entered a residence and stole a ring valued at $500.
- Police responded to on a report of theft. An unknown person stole an iPod, valued at $300, while the victim was at the fitness center.
- Police responded to the 7100 block of Valley View Road on a report of a verbal domestic.
