Cell Phones Stolen from Unlocked Southdale YMCA Lockers

Two teenage boys were also cited for drug violations after police received reports of a suspicious vehicle in the 6000 block of Chapel Drive.

Monday, Feb. 4

  • Lindsay Leigh Nagel, 34, of St. Paul, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a small amount of marijuana after her vehicle was stopped in a parking lot in the 6000 block of Lincoln Drive.
  • Police responded to the 7300 block of Bush Lake Road on a report of burglary. An unknown suspect forced their way into the business, though there was no apparent loss.
  • Two 17-year-old males were cited for drug violations in the 6000 block of Chapel Drive, after police responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle. One male was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia, while the other was cited for a small amount of marijuana.
  • Vickie Montonette Williams, 43, of Fridley, was arrested for theft after she was caught shoplifting $61.46 in items from Byerly's.
  • Police responded to the 3400 block of Hazelton Road on a report of theft. An unknown person stole a $500 laptop from the counter of a store.
  • Police responded to the Southdale YMCA on a report of theft. A phone valued at $549.99 was stolen from an unlocked locker in the girls' locker room.
  • Police responded to the Southdale YMCA on a report of theft. A phone valued at $450.99 was stolen from an unlocked locker in the girls' locker room.

Tuesday, Feb. 5

  • Police responded to the 7100 block of Amundson Avenue on a report of theft. An unknown suspect stole propane gas tanks valued at $113.98.
  • Shanynn Nitschke Bunce, 48, of Minneapolis, was arrested for 4th degree DWI after a traffic stop near the intersection of Grange Road and 50th Street.

Wednesday, Feb. 6

  • Chad Anthony Poets, 44, of Edina, was arrested for 4th degree DWI after a traffic stop near the intersection of Hwy. 169 and Londonderry Road.
  • Police responded to the 4500 block of Arden Avenue on a report of theft. An unknown person stole a $500 snowblower from a residence.
  • Police responded to the 4300 block of Brookside Avenue on a report of a wallet either lost or stolen in St. Louis Park.
  • Police responded to the 6900 block of Wooddale Avenue on a report of burglary. Jewelry valued at $3,549 was stolen by an unknown person from a residence.
  • Police responded to Braemar Arena on a report of theft from auto. An unknown person stole a purse valued at $303 from a locked vehicle.
  • Minna Helena Hovinene, 48, of Edina, was arrested for 4th degree DWI after being involved in a single-vehicle accident at the intersection of Gleason Road and Glacier Place.
