City Opens Online Space for Edina's Green Thumbs

Share your gardening tips or comments on the Yorktown Community Garden.

Edina’s amateur gardeners now have a place online to discuss soil, weather patterns, sore knees and anything else horticultural.

The city added a gardening discussion page to its community conversation website, “Speak Up, Edina.”

“It’s been a tough season for gardeners,” recreation supervisor Kristin Aarsvold said in a statement. “This online forum gives anyone the chance to share their experiences, ask for advice and to give or get help from those whose thumb might just be a little greener than others’.”
