Duo Nabbed Stealing Wire from Home, Drugs in Tow
Police are also seeking a cell phone thief who recently struck Edina High School's library.

Wednesday, May 9
- Police responded to the 4300 block of Parklawn Avenue on a report of a runaway juvenile.
- Jason Scott Utterback, 41, was arrested for domestic assault. No additional details were available.
- Police responded to the 4700 block of Southview Lane on a report of a disturbance.
- Police responded to the 6800 block of West Shore Drive on a report of theft. An unknown person entered a vehicle and stole a briefcase and contents valued at $1,058.
- Police responded to the 6700 block of Normandale Road on a report of theft. An unknown person entered a vehicle and stole cash and credit cards valued at $45.
- Police responded to the 6600 block of Field Way on a report of an undetermined amount of stolen items from a residence.
- Police responded to the 6300 block of France Avenue South on a report of damage to glass blocks at a residence.
- Police responded to on a report of a cell phone stolen from the school's library. The phone was valued at $500.

- Police responded to the 6300 block of Xerxes Avenue South on a report of a verbal domestic.
- Police responded to the CVS Pharmacy on a report of an unidentified male selecting, concealing and leaving the store without paying for $214.97 in merchandise.
- Police responded to the 6600 block of Parkwood Road on a report of attempted burglary. An unknown person attempted to forcibly enter a residence, but was unable to do so.
Friday, May 11
- Richard James O'Reilly, 49, of Columbia Heights, and Brenda Lee Nordstrom, 48, of St. Paul, were arrested for possession of stolen property and possession of a controlled substance. Officers responding to a burglary in progress in the 5700 block of Susan Avenue found the two with $540 in miscellaneous stolen wire.
