Edina Named 12th Best Place for Minnesota Job Seekers

Nerd Wallet has named Edina one of the top 15 places in Minnesota for job seekers. 

Nerd Wallet is a consumer advocacy site and asked the following questions as part of its analysis:

• Is the city growing?
• Can you afford to live in the city comfortably?
• Are most people employed?

Edina is number 12 on the list. Nerd Wallet took into account Edina's $80,243 median household income in 2011 and its 4.2 percent unemployment rate.

Nerd Wallet analyzed 38 communities with populations greater than $25,000. The top city on the list was Woodbury.
