Edina Police Make Meth Bust, Break Up House Party
Officers charge Fridley man with methamphetamine possession during traffic stop.

Edina police stopped a 37-year-old Fridley man for a traffic violation, only to find crystal meth and a couple of pipes in his vehicle.
Ross Peter Bautch, of 5980 Anna Ave. NE, was driving near the intersection of West 76th Street and Washington Avenue South at 3 a.m. on May 27 when police pulled him over. During the stop, officers found a small, metal tube containing what appear to be a rock of crystal methamphetamine.
Police Spokeswoman Molly Anderson said it's not common for Edina police to find methamphetamine, though it's become more common in recent times.
