Edina Police Rack Up DWI Arrests, Seek Mailbox Vandals

May 30

• A 15-year-old male was charged with theft for allegedly stealing a $90 bracelet from at Southdale Center.
• Police responded to the 5000 block of Park Terrance on a report of a burglary.
• Police responded to the intersection of Parklawn and York avenues on a report of spray painted graffiti to a bench.

May 31

• Police responded to  on a report of a subject forcibly entering the restaurant and stealing cash and alcohol valued at $400.
• Police responded to the 6300 block of Barrie Road on a report of damage to a victim's security camera.
• Police responded to the 6300 block of Mildred Avenue on a report of possible suspicious activity.
• Police responded to on a report of a disturbance.
• Police responded to the 4100 block of Parklawn Avenue on a report of an unknown person forcibly entering an apartment and stealing merchandise valued at $3,982.
• Police responded to the 5600 block of Dundee Road on a report of an unknown person forcibly entering a residence and stealing an undetermined amount of property.
• Police responded to the 6300 block of Barrie Road on a report of a victim's neighbor standing by her door and peering into her residence.

June 1

• Janelle Marie Stout, 27, was charged with domestic assault.
• Police responded to the 6100 block of Arctic Way on a report of a possible identity theft.
• Police responded to the 4000 block of West 51st Street on a report of an unknown person slashing the tires on a victim's vehicle.

June 2

• William Joseph Knight, 40, of 1917 Heritage Dr., Shakopee, was charged with a second-degree DWI and driving after cancelled inimical to public safety.
• Matthew Harold Schwartz, 27, of 17743 Sheridan Ave., St. Paul, was charged with a fourth-degree DWI.
• Police responded to the 5600 block of Woodcrest Drive on a report of an unknown person entering a victim's residence and stealing items valued at $350.
• Sandi Marie Sicheneder, 43, of 251 Pleasant Lane, Chaska, was charged with a third-degree DWI.
• Melvin Bert Benson, 38, of 3121 69th St. W. #201, was charged with a third-degree DWI after striking a garage door with his vehicle.
• A 17-year-old female was charged with underage consumption after officers responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle.

June 3

• Police responded to the 5100 block of Wooddale Avenue on a report of .

• Police responded to on a report of an unkown person stealing cash and a controlled substance from a victim's purse.
• Police responded to the 6300 block of Rolf Avenue on a report of an unknown person stealing sunglasses,  a bicycle and yoga bag valued at $720.
• Police responded to the 5200 block of West 56th Street on a report of a verbal domestic incident.

June 4

• Taylor Alexandra Ilten, 20, of 4600 Edina Blvd., was charged with underage consumption and hosting an open house party.
• Erica Louis Schwaltz Narloch, 20, of 36 S. Worthington St., Oconomowoc, WI, was charged with underage consumption and fleeing police.
• Yohaan John, 37, of 3048 Nevada Ave. S., St. Louis Park, was charged with a fourth-degree DWI.
• Police responded to the 6300 block of Warren Avenue on a report of an unknown person entering a victim's vehicle and stealing a camera, iPod, baseball hat and cash valued at $428.

June 5
