Edina Rotary Clubs Seeking Host Families for Exchange Students

Six Edina families are needed to host two Rotary Exchange Students in the coming year.

Edina's Rotary Clubs are looking for several volunteer host families for international students for the 2013-14 school year.

The community's morning and noon Rotary clubs will be hosting two international students next year, and are looking for host families from a variety of backgrounds. Whether the host family is a single-parent household, empty-nesters or a family with our without children, everyone is invited to be part of the experience.

Rotary Exchange Students will spend 3-4 months with each host family, with six households in total needed. The North Star Youth Exchange hosts events for the students throughout the year and the Edina Rotary clubs are involved with them as well. Each of the two students also undergo a thorough assessment and orientation program to prepare them for the year abroad.
