Edina students recognized for academic achievement

Minnesota Connections Academy students inducted into National Honor Society Chapters

ST. PAUL, MN -Dylan and Trenton-Ira McCullough of Edina were among 30 Minnesota Connections Academy students to be recognized for their outstanding academic achievement and service to the community.

During a ceremony held at the statewide virtual school’s offices in St. Paul, Dylan, a sixth grader, and Trenton-Ira a seventh grader, were inducted into the National Junior Honor Society for students in grades six through nine. The National Honor Society is a nationwide organization that recognizes students for achievement in four areas: scholarship, leadership, service, and character.

“At Minnesota Connections Academy we have the opportunity to work with students and families from many different backgrounds who come to us seeking an academic setting where they can thrive,” said Brad Swanson, Minnesota Connections Academy Executive Director. “I congratulate these students for their persistence and for maintaining such a strong commitment to succeeding in the classroom and making a difference in the communities in which they live.”
