The 2011 Edina Model Yacht Club's Parade of Boats had everything from sailboats to high-powered steamships, all cruising the calm waters of Centennial Lakes Park on Sunday, June 12. This year marks the 20th anniversary for the EMYC, which is made up of model enthusiasts from throughout the Twin Cities and beyond. Club members regularly meet at Centennial Lakes on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays to show off their boats, but the Parade of Boats is aimed at bringing community members out to see their prized watercrafts.
