Herberger's Employee Arrested for Creating Fraudulent Credit Vouchers

Police also responded to the 5800 block of York Avenue on a report of a stolen handgun and television sets.

Thursday, Feb. 7

  • Police responded to the 5800 block of York Avenue on a report of burglary. An unknown person forcibly entered a residence and stole a handgun and television sets.
  • Police responded to the 7000 block of York Avenue on a report of three found bicycles.
  • A 16-year-old boy was arrested for theft, possession of drug paraphernalia and fleeing police after attempting to shoplift $331 in clothing from the Southdale Center JCPenney.
  • A 17-year-old female Herberger's employee was arrested for theft by swindle or trick after creating fraudulent credit vouchers at the store.
  • Justin Matthew Rudolph, 18, of Richfield, was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana in motor vehicle in the 6600 block of York Avenue.
  • Patrick Joseph Harris, 18, of Bloomington, was cited for possession of a small amount of marijuana in the 6600 block of York Avenue.
  • Isaiah James Smith, 24, of Shakopee, was arrested for 4th degree DWI after a traffic stop at the intersection of Hwy. 100 and West 70th Street.

  • Police responded to the 3900 block of West 50th Street on a report of theft. An unknown female took jewelry valued at $81.50 from a store without paying for it.
  • Police responded to the Southdale YMCA on a report of theft. A phone valued at $200 was stolen from the men's locker room of the YMCA.

Saturday, Feb. 9

  • Police responded to the South Metro Public Safety Training Facility on a report of a found pistol.
  • Dionne Viealetta Knibb, 43, of Brooklyn Park, was arrested for 4th degree DWI after a traffic stop at the intersection of Eden Avenue and Grange Road.

  • Daniel Dalton Grieder, 32, of Edina, was arrested for assault in the 400 block of Washington Avenue.
