Edina's boaters and landlubbers alike are invited to the annual Lighthouse Night Sunday at Centennial Lakes Park.
The Edina Model Yacht Club's annual event takes its name from the "interior cockpit and cabin lights, exterior lights, navigation running lights, search lights, and flood lights" shining in the water beside a floating scale model of a lighthouse.
Come at 6:30 p.m. and enjoy 25-cent Ice Cream Cones, 5-cent Balloons, Model "T" Fords, The Model Boat Club, Sleight-of-Hand Magician, Italian Organ Grinder, Mechanical Man, "Pennyfarthing" Bicycles. Fifes and drums start at 7:45 p.m. The John Sousa band concert starts at 8:30., followed by a fireworks finale.
