More Snow Headed For Edina: When, How Much To Expect

EDINA, MN — Another round of snow is likely to hit Edina on Tuesday, with forecasters calling for several inches to fall by Wednesday morning.

The arctic cold will arrive again on Thursday when the low is predicted to hit 16 degrees below zero.

Winter parking rules are in effect in Edina, requiring residents to remove their vehicles from city streets if at least 1.5 inches of snow fall

A chance of flurries between noon and 3 p.m., then a slight chance of snow after 3 p.m. Patchy fog between 7 a.m. and 9 a.m. Otherwise, cloudy, with a high near 31. South southeast wind 5 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Tuesday night
Snow. Patchy blowing snow after 5 a.m. Low around 9. Blustery, with a south wind 5 to 10 mph becoming west northwest 15 to 20 mph in the evening. Winds could gust as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Snow likely before noon, then flurries likely after noon. Patchy blowing snow before 1 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a temperature falling to around 8 by 5 p.m. Blustery, with a northwest wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent. New snow accumulation of less than a half inch possible.
