(PHOTOS) Boys Lacrosse Tops Wayzata 12-9

The Hornets nabbed another victory last week to improve their record to 3-6.

The boys lacrosse team got its third win of the season last Thursday against a tough Wayzata squad.

The Hornets struck early and often, outscoring the Trojans 11-7 in the first three quarters of regulation play. The Trojans rebounded to outscore the Hornets 2-1 in the final quarter, but it wasn't enough to make up for the massive lead the Edina boys built up throughout the game.

The boys are now 3-6 on the season, with a 2-4 Lake Conference record. They have wins over both Wayzata and Hopkins this season.
