Polar Plunge In Edina To Raise Money For Special Olympics MN
South View Middle School is set to host its first-ever "Cool School" Polar Plunge on March 30 to support Special Olympics Minnesota.
EDINA, MN — Hundreds of people from the Edina area are set to make a splash later this month to support Special Olympics in Minnesota.
More than 200 have gathered donations and pledged to jump into a mobile “Cool School” pool March 30 at South View Middle School. This will be the first year the school hosts a “Cool School” plunge.
The event is less than $150 from reaching its $25,000 goal, as of noon Friday. According to the Polar Plunge website, 210 people have raised $24,863 so far.
